Benjamin Riley Beattie, better known by his stage name Ben Riley, is an American electronic musician, recording and mix engineer. Growing up in Aspen Colorado, Ben was surrounded by talented musicians and passionate music enthusiasts. At the age of 17 Ben took up the turntables, learning to mix and blend songs. Shortly after learning to perfect the craft, Ben was immersed in the electronic music scene in Denver Colorado. Playing along side many of the veterans in the industry, Ben decided to take it up a notch. He enrolled into Full Sail Universities Recording Arts and Music Business program. He graduated shortly after with a Sound Engineering Degree.
After college Ben packed his car and moved to Telluride Colorado, where he became the head mix engineer and producer at a large format recording studio. At the studio Ben worked with some of the best studio musicians around. Ben had the chance to record Richard Hardy, a sax musician that recorded and toured with Carol King for 14 years. He also recorded studio owner Alan Bradbury, A Grammy nominated songwriter. Other credits include, Scott Cossu, Brett Eldredge, Scotty McCreery, Jana Kramer, Gloriana and many others.
Ben now resides in Nashville, TN where he continues to mix and master songs for clients. He has steadily been playing at some of the top venues in Nashville performing his original Electronic music.
